Down
Feather down, which comes from ducks or geese, gets clumped very easily while trapping air inside causing heat to stay and get extra toasty and uncomfortable. Not to mention all those innocent ducks/geese needed to fill a down comforter or pillow... The ease of cleaning feather down is very difficult, needs expensive dry cleaning, and is bad for allergy sufferers.
Shredded Pieces Of Foam
Shredded foam pillows are usually made from leftover foam sold in large quantities to pillow manufacturers. The pillows never retain their shape and not to mention gets very lumpy and uncomfortable. You never know what you are resting your face on.
Stiff Molded Polyfoam
The problem with dense molded foam is that inhibits breathability, causing the pillow to retain heat. Another problem with dense foam is waking up with headaches due to the firmness of the pillow.
