We sat down with the partners to ask them more about how they got started.

Kristen: Tell us, how did you know where to start?

Jacob: To be honest, I really didn't. But I knew there had to be a better way to beauty sleep and the untapped potential of people's lives through sleep optimization. So I started researching everything. I wanted to find out what changes we could realistically make to products and how that would affect daily life. What I found out? People need perfect sleep to fit into their lives to reach their full potential. People have jobs and kids and house cleaning and groceries. They need the sleep they do get to matter in order to look the best, feel the greatest, and in the end be happy.

Kristen: So how did you find out the results?

Brennin: We started with what people are missing out on with their current sleep. An adjustable pillow for all sleeping styles so less tossing and turning, snoring, and going to sleep faster. Anxiety, restlessness, poor mood and even depression can all breed from bad sleep. I remembered how deep sleep is something like 10x as effective as the first and last 30 minutes of sleep. So if you are waking up at all in the middle of the night, your sleep is actually really terrible. So we solved the issue by testing every pillow we could develop (100+) to find what we think is the best on the planet.

Since the launch, the partners sold out of Sleepgram Pillows 4 times, and are gearing up for their next run. But the results so far have been unbelievable!

Kristen: Was it expensive to develop Sleepgram Pillows?

Brennin: Doing the initial testing and research was. I used my savings from a decade working after spending some time at Stanford. But one of our biggest challenges was we wanted to make Sleepgram afforadable for everyone. So we're offering a number of different packages and options in order to fit everyone's budget.

Kristen: That's impressive! Could you explain how Sleepgram works?

Jacob: There isn't much to it, and that is the appeal of it all. Every night you try a Sleepgram Pillow and adjust it to one of the three settings of soft/medium/firm that fits your body type and sleep position best. And every morning, you will wake up more refreshed than you have felt in a long time, you can play around with the different settings each night to find what actually is best for you as most people do not actually know, That's it!
