Which Online Pillow Reigns Supreme?

The first thing anyone looks at when comparing a premium pillow is price. In this case Purple was the most expensive by almost double the most inexpensive option, Sleepgram. Surprisingly, the MyPillow premium version is almost $80! The lesser known Coop and Casper pillows came in at $75.00 and $59.99 respectively and remain in the middle of the pack. On a strictly price basis, Sleepgram wins this one pretty handily.

Soft/Medium/Firm

Starting off with Purple, it is very firm and is made with some strange rubber material that feels like a floppy mini mattress. Moving on to Casper, the pillow is what we would consider a medium-soft as it has no foam and a soft outer shell. Coop is a bit more foamy feeling and is slightly firmer than Casper; we would call Coop a medium-firm pillow. MyPillow has some different fill levels you can choose from, but hard to tell which one we would like. We bought the firmest and it still felt very soft for some reason like it was full of some kind of foam garbage material.

Sleepgram, on the other hand, actually comes with 3 settings built into each pillow. There is a soft, medium and firm 'setting' determined by a combination of the 2 differently sized inserts. Leaving just the smaller insert in is the soft setting, leaving just the larger insert in is the medium setting and both inserts inside is the firm setting. To boot, it has a beautiful zipper compelete with the Sleepgram logo that opens and exposes the inserts. The mix-and-match setup is very cool; I did not know which soft or firm setting my sleep needed until I tested the different iterations and found the medium setting perfect for me!

Return Policy?

As you can see in the graph above, Coop comes in with the worst policy: only 14 days. Yikes! MyPillow is slightly better with 60 days to return. However Purple, Casper and Sleepgram are ALL 100 days with free return labels. Sleepgram, Purple and Casper all win this round.

   * Coop convienently only had 4 and 5 star reviews, we posted a very fair 3-star review as we believe it to be a 3-star pillow... it never was published nor have ANY 1, 2 or 3 star rating. We can definitely confirm they are hiding reviews. You'll want to stay away from these guys.

   Conclusion
   
   In conclusion, Sleepgram is the clear winner with Casper being a decent back up. Purple, MyPillow, and Coop all had big down-sides that made them pretty much a no-go on recommending to anyone. If you have any of these 3 pillows (or something worse) we highly highly suggest trying a Sleepgram Pillow as it will make these others feel obsolete.
